More and more platforms incorporate the popular cryptocurrency in their ecosystem. And I’ll try my best to keep this article up to date every time I find a new way to earn BAT. To start with, I’ll show you how to get started with Brave and Publish0x.

I love this browser – I use it every day both at work and at home. And I couldn’t switch back to any other one. Maybe Chrome with the uBlock Origin extension could be an acceptable setup. But I wouldn’t get free tokens… So, forget about it.

Because it’s kind of broken these days, as you can easily agree. There are tons of invasive ads, pop-ups and push notifications on most websites. And, hidden behind this system, there is advanced tracking software that interferes with your privacy.
Brave, based on Chromium (the free and open-source browser of Google), blocks ads and trackers and protects your privacy! And it’s FAST – 8 times faster than Chrome or Safari!
How to earn free BAT with Brave?
First of all, you need to download the browser. And install it on your computer (Windows, macOS or Linux). While the software is available on Android and iOS, the rewards aren’t available on smartphones yet. You can easily import all your data (bookmarks, passwords, etc.) from your current browser. So, you don’t need to waste time setting everything up.
Next, you need to visit the Brave Rewards tab, either from the settings or from the icon in the address bar. And you have to enable Brave Rewards and Ads:
This last step is mandatory to get free Basic Attention Tokens. Indeed, the free BAT tokens are rewards you earn for watching ads. You can select the maximum number of ads to display per hour in the ads settings: From 1 to 5.
While the program is not available everywhere, there’s a solution to enable the ads. So, if you’re not in the US, in the UK, in France or in Germany, you can easily change the regional settings of your device.
After that, you should see notifications and sponsored images on your dashboard. And you should get the corresponding rewards in free BAT.
Finally, you need to claim your rewards once a month – or, if you verified your wallet with Uphold, you receive the rewards in your wallet automatically.
Publish0x
While I haven’t used it much, because I have my own blogs, this crypto-blogging platform rewards both content creators and readers with free cryptos. And one of these is the one we’re talking about today: BATs!

This crypto-powered platform was launched in 2019.
A bit like Steemit, it allows users to share, read and reward relevant content to get free tokens. But there are several cryptocurrencies available: HYDRO, DAI, and BAT. And they may add some more in the future – they’re token agnostic (meaning any token is fine).
The free BAT tokens are sponsored by the website itself. And when users tip content creators, they can keep a share of the tip – I’ll let you know a bit more about that in the next paragraph.
How to earn free BAT tokens with Publish0x?
Start by signing up and verifying your email address. And then start tipping!
Because that’s the easiest way to earn BAT tokens on this platform. Find and read articles. And if you think it’s worth it, tip the author. Head to the bottom of the article and find the sliding tipper:
And choose how much of your tip you want to give to the author and to how much to keep for yourself. Because you have a choice in the matter! The bare minimum to allocate the author is 20%. But you could also give 100% depending on the quality of the piece you read.
When you click on the TIP button, you receive the crypto in your account. And you can go to the next article!
If you feel like it, you can apply to become a publisher. And start writing articles to get tips. But the team needs to approve your application first. After that, the more articles you write, the more tips you can get.
Finally, there’s the last way to earn free BAT: Share content. Apply to become a PaperDrips ambassador and then you can simply share articles from Publish0x. And when readers tip authors, you get a commission!
Conclusion
As you can see, it’s easy to have a regular income of BATs in 2023. If you combine Brave and Publish0x, you can get 25 to 50 tokens a month without doing much, depending on how much time you spend online.
- Using Brave is a no-brainer: This browser is fast, ad-free and it protects your privacy. I switched from Chrome. And I can’t go back!
- Publish0x is a bit different: At the minimum, you need to visit the platform and complete actions like tipping. It requires some time and commitment.
